Check Out Our Door Styles
We carry the 4 most popular cabinet doors styles: Shaker 15, Shaker 45, Mission, and Slab. Once you choose your style, we custom make each cabinet door in our warehouse to fit your cabinets.
Shaker 15 Doors
Shaker doors are one of the most popular door styles that can be used in many different designs. The Shaker 15 has a very slight angle between the inner panel and outer rails and looks very close to the mission style door, but the shallow angle gives it a nice contemporary look.
Shaker 45 Doors
One of the most popular styles, this “Shaker 45” has a 45 degree angle between the inner panel and outer rails giving it a fancier look than the Shaker 15. This look is still contemporary, but can work in more traditional designs, as well.
The Mission door style with it’s super-clean lines is perfect for kitchens with a modern design. It’s also a great way to let other elements in your kitchen really pop, as your cabinets won’t overshadow them.
The slab door style has a very understated look that’s great for those who want an ultra-modern looking kitchen. These cabinet doors have become popular in recent years.
We offer several options for custom cabinetry to round out your kitchen and help make it more functional and beautiful. Here’s just some of what we can help you with:
- Add a Pantry.
- Add-on a cabinet
- Replace cabinet boxes.
- Replace stationary cabinet shelves with easy-slide full-extension pull out drawers.
- Convert a cabinet to drawers or vice versa.
- Add an in-cabinet easy-slide trash unit.

Our Happy Customers
Custom Cabinets Frequently Asked Questions
Yes! We believe in helping the homeowners first. We are happy to schedule a day and time that is good for you. We can help advise you on your options, help with picking colors, and of course if we are a good fit, we will leave an estimate for your review. Check out our self-service form to schedule an appointment.
Unlike some of our competitors, we make our custom cabinets right here in our warehouse in the Des Moines area.
Our custom cabinets are made from high-quality affordable woods like beech, maple, birch, and red oak. If you have a special wood request, let us know and we will see what we can do.
Yes, absolutely! Let us know you’re interested and we’ll get you a quote.
We also do door to drawer conversions, in-cabinet easy slide trash units, easy slide pull-out shelves, and lazy susan installs. Our customers have found these incredibly helpful to add to their storage needs. We will also install custom cabinets bought from another company.
The nature of making custom cabinets means that each job is unique. We can’t give you a specific timeline because of this. However, please note that there may be multiple steps involving reaching out to discuss options with you and to schedule time to enter the home to take measurements and do installs. We will let you know when these need to be taken care of. Because of this, we ask that you provide an easy way to get in touch with you, either via a cell phone or an email that you check regularly.
If you bought a “refacing” or custom cabinets that have doors from us, we will provide soft-close hinges at no charge and we will also install them. The soft-close hinges are “hidden” so you don’t even have to worry about matching them to your other hardware.
Indeed we do. We sell multiple brands and three of those are the top brands in the USA: Bereson, Amerock, and Hickory. Here’s a link to our catalog. When you’re ready to order, send us the full handle, knob, or pull number using this online form, and don’t forget to let us know how many you want to order. If you’re ordering multiple and we’re doing a job with you, let us also know where we need to install each handle, knob, or pull.
Technically, yes, but the process for using a custom color has an additional charge and a longer more detailed process. If you want to go this route for your job, please let us know ASAP so we can discuss that process with you. To avoid delays in your job and the additional fee, please choose a Sherwin Williams brand color. You can find them on their excellent website here.
While we do use the Sherwin Williams colors, the formula of paint we use cannot be bought off the shelf at a store. We order it from our paint manufacturer where it is mixed special. The paint we use is a commercial and cabinet grade paint. Most paint you get from a paint store is not made to go on and stay on cabinets, even if it says so.
We are head-quartered in the Des Moines area, but we service the entire state of Iowa with most of the services we offer. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to call or use our contact form to ask us whether we offer a specific service in your area.
From time to time we will send out emails to offer discounts to our customers. As an FYI, offers cannot be combined with each other unless otherwise stated.
Yes, we require a 30% deposit to get started on your job.
We accept check, credit or debit card, and cash. If you are paying by check, please mail to: 9975 NW 121st St, Granger, IA 50109
Thank you for accepting the estimate. Our system doesn’t automatically turn those into invoices (where you would be able to pay) and we have to do that manually. We receive a notification when you accept the estimate and will convert that to an invoice as soon as possible. The email where you can click to view the invoice will have the deposit amount on it. You are welcome to pay via credit or debit card with our online portal by clicking “pay now” or send us a check to the address listed on your invoice.
We offer a 30 day warranty on new installed hardware on new doors. If we refinished (resurfaced) your cabinet doors (also included in a refacing) and you experience peeling, cracking, or chipping within the first year we will repair your doors at no cost (as long as we have the color available and you bring the doors to us). If we don’t have your color available, there will be a charge to order it. We also provide a 90 day warranty for the paint on the frames if you had your cabinets refinished (resurfaced) or refaced with us. For new customers, please view the full, up-to-date details of our warranties on our job start information page and look for the “Warranty and Considerations” section. For past customers, refer back to the Important Information sheet that you signed before the job began.
Yes, we do! We have a financing offer through our partner Wells Fargo. Check out our current financing offer* and apply here.
*Some restrictions apply.
Yes, we do charge a 3% on credit or debit card processing. Our payment processor charges us whether you use a debit or credit card, and we pass that charge along. To avoid the fee, you are welcome to pay us by check.
If the item is under warranty, we will absolutely take care of it for you. Please note that we will have to make time in our schedule to take care of it and we may not have time available right away. Please refer back to the Important Information sheet you signed for your job with us for information on the warranty provided with your job.
If the item is not under warranty, then we can come out to repair items but it will incur a charge and we do not plan time in our schedule for repairs. That means that we will make time when we have it. We are not a repair company or a handyman. If you have a need that is not under warranty and it can be handled by someone else, such as a loose handle or hinge, then we recommend that you hire a repair service who has more time available for those kinds of tasks.
Yes we do. Give us a call, or use our contact form to inquire about this type of project.
