Cabinet Color Inspiration From Our Customer’s Jobs

Choosing the right cabinet color can make a big difference in the feel of your kitchen. Check out some examples of colors our own customers have chosen below. Keep in mind while viewing these images, that the color may not look exactly the same in your kitchen due to lighting, and how your monitor presents the color in the image. When in doubt, always try to get a paint swatch or sample that you can see in your own home.

Whites

Some people think white cabinets are boring, but white can elevate a kitchen with darker or contrasting elements to something truly sophisticated. Brighten your kitchen or bathroom with one of these beautiful white colors.

Valerie N in Urbandale chose “Extra White” for her cabinet refinishing and WOW it is stunning! We also installed new cabinet handles for her.

Ooh! Eliut in West Des Moines traded out his old traditional doors and drawer fronts for new Concave doors and drawer fronts in Bright White for his refacing. We installed soft-close hinges and new handles (filling in the old holes and drilling out new to install them). We also made and installed new concave side panels for the side of the pantry and the end of the peninsula.

Off-Whites

When you want to brighten your kitchen or bathroom, but you feel like white is just “too-much”. Check out these off-whites below.

Caroline C in Urbandale Cabinet Refacing — Caroline C in Urbandale updated the color and doors of her kitchen cabinets to “Perfect Greige” and Shaker 45 doors. She also opted for soft-close hinges, new handles, and crown molding.

Grays

Gray kitchen or bathroom cabinets can be a great choice if you want something more muted, but you don’t necessarily want cabinets with a lot of color on them.

Kristy B in Altoona brightened up her small kitchen with a cabinet refacing in “Online”. Also changed out a drawer stack for a drawer and door combo. And those new handles are so cute!

Ooh la la… We love Ruth in West Des Moines’ refacing with new Shaker 45 doors and drawer fronts in “Dorian Gray”! She also got new soft close hinges, soft close drawer boxes and new handles.

Blues

Blue cabinets have been trending upwards the last couple of years and it’s not hard to understand why. Blues can be soothing or can add a homey touch.

Tracy in Urbandale chose a unique half cabinet refacing & half cabinet refinishing. The top cabinets got a new Raised Panel Concave door in Extra White and to bottom cabinets were refinished in Blue. Soft-close hinges and new handles were also installed.

Greens

Green cabinets are also a rising trend. Painting your kitchen cabinets green can give your kitchen a truly unique look.

Blacks and Dark Colors
